A Super Softball Slumber Party

Saturday night we had a softball slumber party at our house for our daughter’s team. We really love this group of girls, and I think we had as much fun as they did! They played wiffle ball in the back yard, ate pizza and cracker jacks, and spent most of the night telling stories and giggling. Here are a few photos from the event.

We tied some balloons in the team colors through a batting helmet and threw in some extra equipment to make a table centerpiece.  For take home gifts we made big bright paper softballs that the girls all signed with notes for each other. They also decorated water bottles which they can use for the season!

We made softball cupcakes using lemon frosting with red gel trim (drag a toothpick through the gel to make the stitches.)

We had a full house with lots of sleeping bags and not much sleeping, but everyone was still smiling at breakfast on Sunday!
