Softball Team Party Ideas

softball team party ideasIt’s softball season again, and that means it’s time to plan some team parties! For both Larissa and for me softball is a family affair. Our girls have all been playing the game since they were in third grade, our husbands have coached together for all those years, and we of course, have been the team moms. Our oldest daughters are now sophomores in high school. That’s a lot of team parties!! You can check out a lot of our previous softball party ideas on our main softball/baseball party page and our softball slumber party page (along with a few other related posts). Here are our new favorite softball team party ideas for the coming season….

Types of Parties

  • Have a barbecue or team dinner — many teams in our league have monthly or even weekly rotating team dinners at each player’s home.
  • Show a movie — Pile everybody in the family room, or as the weather warms up, you might consider having an outdoor movie night in the yard using a projector. A League of Their Own is a classic movie choice to get the team motivated for the next game.
  • Host a Slumber PartySleepovers can be great for team bonding games and chatting into the night.
  • Have a Pool Party — If it’s warm where you live, a pool party is always a fun and easy hit.
