U2 — This famous band started in Dublin in 1976 and has been going strong ever since. Led by lead singer Bono, U2 is a must-have at any Irish party.

Flogging Molly — This is a seven piece Celtic punk band from Los Angeles, California. They play some hard rocking Irish music. Songs to listen to include “Drunken Lullabies,” Irish Pub Song,” and Devil’s Dance Floor.”
The Chieftains — The Chieftains are a well-known Irish band known for singing the classics and some great Celtic dance tunes. Songs we like include “My Lagan love,” “the Carolina Reel,” “Danny Boy,” and “I Tell me Ma.”
The Pogues — The Pogues are a Celtic band from London who were famous in the 1980s and 1990s, broke up for a while and then got back together. They often tour around St. Patrick’s Day. For your party, listen to “The Rocky Road to Dublin, ” Bottle of Smoke,” Streams of Whiskey,” and “Young Ned of the Hill.”
The Saw Doctors — The Saw Doctors are an Irish band that to this day holds the record in that country for the all-time best-selling single, “I Useta Lover.” We also like “the Red and Green of Mayo.”
