In our family, sometimes life gets a little crazy, and so I am always looking for a way to slow things down and reflect on all the good things we have going on. We started the tradition of the St. Patrick’s Day pot o’ gratitude when my kids were little. At the beginning of March we would put a bowl (although a cute plastic leprechaun pot¬†would be even better) on the kitchen counter and every morning at breakfast and after dinner each person in our family would fill out a slip of paper with something that they felt lucky for in their lives. Then during St. Patrick’s Day dinner we would share all the bits of luck we wrote down.

Here is a printable that you can download copy to set our by your own kitchen bowl. If you want to make things extra jazzy, you might scatter some gold chocolate leprechaun coins and goodies in and around the bowl as an incentive to share even more ideas! Happy St. Patrick’s Day and may the luck of the Irish be with you!
